Hmong & Southeast Asian Marketing · Minnesota

Built in Hmong. Not translated into it.

For Hmong American Partnership, that meant 10,000+ leads and 400+ enrollments at under $3 per lead. We build campaigns the same way for brands, agencies and public partners reaching Hmong, Karen and Southeast Asian Minnesotans.

Translated isn't the same as reached.

Most multicultural campaigns start as an English ad. Then someone translates it.

It runs. The numbers come back flat. And the takeaway becomes “that audience doesn't respond.”

They do respond. Just not to an ad that wasn't made for them.

Hmong and Karen families in the Twin Cities are on Facebook, YouTube and TikTok, often in their own language. They trust messengers who look and sound like them.

Every flat campaign makes next year's budget smaller. That's the real cost.

How it works

Everyone else translates. We build from the community out.

Build with the community

Ads in Hmong, Karen and English, made with native speakers and real community faces. Not stock photos. We work alongside the organizations people already trust.

Campaigns run on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, aimed at the neighborhoods where these communities live. You get reach, response and cost by community and language. Numbers you can put in front of leadership.

“Pure Growth Media has been instrumental to our enrollment. Across our programs they generated more than 10,000 prospective-student leads at less than $3 each and helped us enroll over 400 students — real people we've been able to serve and move toward better careers.

How we know it reached the Hmong community

Meta's reporting doesn't break results down by ethnicity. So we checked three ways.

Where

Engagement clustered in Saint Paul, Brooklyn Park and North Minneapolis, the metro's core Hmong communities.

Language

We wrote the Hmong-language ads with a team of translators, so they read like they were made in Hmong. Not translated after the fact.

Who

About 1 in 7 post reactions (13.7%) came from people we could identify as Hmong community members.

In their words

In their own words.

“During a time when our organization was navigating limited internal communications and marketing capacity, this team became a trusted extension of our staff. Their responsiveness, professionalism, and ability to quickly adapt to our needs helped ensure that our communications efforts continued seamlessly.

From managing day-to-day communications needs to helping keep projects moving forward, they consistently delivered quality support with flexibility and reliability. Their partnership allowed us to maintain momentum, elevate our visibility, and stay focused on advancing our mission and serving our community.

We are grateful for Pure Growth's support and would highly recommend them to any organization seeking a responsive, dependable, and collaborative communications and marketing partner!”

“Christian and his team became an extension of Hope. In one quarter they produced more than 30 videos that told our story the way it deserves to be told — and the results spoke for themselves. Our page went from a couple dozen video views a day to more than 25,000 video views in a single quarter, reaching nearly 47,000 people in our community, all organically.

For a school whose growth depends on families knowing and trusting us, that visibility is everything. I'd recommend Pure Growth to any school leader serious about telling their story.”
